Community Cooking

Discover the art of cooking at Mandurah Filipino Australian Multicultural Community Inc. Our kitchen is a hub of creativity and flavors, where we blend traditional Asian and Australian cuisines. Join us in exploring the rich tapestry of multicultural dishes. Whether you're a seasoned cook or a novice cook, there's always something new to learn. Anybody can volunteer to cook. This Community Cooking is a project sponsored by the City of Mandurah.

Community Gardening

Get your hands dirty and join our gardening team to create community garden to compliment the community kitchen (plant to plate).  Your green thumb can help our community garden bloom. 

Community Pantry

Our Community Pantry is a collaboration with Greenfields Family and Community Center. An initiative dedicated to supporting those in need by providing non perishable food, occasional bread, fruits, and vegetables. Open to everyone, the pantry operates on the principles of generosity and community spirit, encouraging individuals to "Take what they need, and give what they can." By offering a safe and welcoming space, we aim to alleviate hunger and foster a sense of solidarity within our community. Whether you're here to contribute or to receive, our doors are open between 10:30am to 1:00pm - Mondays to Fridays. We also provide weekend pantry for the needy on Saturdays between 12:00nn to 1:00pm by calling this number (0414 739 188).

Crafting

Our crafting programs provide a creative outlet for individuals of all ages and backgrounds, fostering community through hands-on activities. Participants engage in various projects, from sewing and painting to upcycling and DIY crafts, promoting collaboration, skill-building, and self-expression. Whether you're a seasoned artisan or a curious beginner, our workshops are designed to making old things new and promote Recycle, Repurpose, and Reuse.

Community Market

Our Community Market is a vibrant and inclusive space where local vendors and shoppers come together to celebrate the diversity and creativity of our community. Whether you’re a seasoned seller, an artisan, or simply someone with extra goods to share, our market is open to all.

 

Shoppers will find a unique mix of handmade crafts, fresh plants, vintage finds, and everyday essentials. We believe in supporting local talent and fostering connections, so whether you’re here to sell, shop, or just enjoy the atmosphere, you’ll find a warm welcome and a true community spirit. Join us in making this market a hub of activity, creativity, and shared experiences.

Free Social Zumba

Join us every Friday from 5PM to 6PM at the Greenfields Family and Community Centre for Free Social Zumba Fridays, proudly organized by the Mandurah Filipino-Australian Multicultural Community Incorporated (MFAMCI). This fun, free activity is all about promoting friendship, fitness, and fun in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Everyone is encouraged to dance at their own pace, no experience needed, no pressure, just good vibes and great music. It's a perfect way to stay active, meet new people, and enjoy the community spirit. Everyone is welcome, come move with us!

SEWING FOR A CAUSE

Join us every Friday from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Greenfields Family and Community Centre for Sewing for a Cause, a free and friendly crafting session organized by the Mandurah Filipino-Australian Multicultural Community Incorporated (MFAMCI). Whether you're a beginner or experienced, come and learn to sew hair scrunchies, shopping bags, and other useful items—either for yourself or to share with others in need. We provide a relaxed, welcoming space where you can use our supplies or bring your own, and enjoy a warm cup of afternoon tea on us. It’s a great way to learn, give back, and connect with others in the community.

Speech Craft

Build your confidence and communication skills with MFAMCI Speech Craft, a free training program held every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Greenfields Family and Community Centre. Organized by the Mandurah Filipino-Australian Multicultural Community Incorporated (MFAMCI), these friendly, two-hour sessions are designed to help participants improve sentence construction, develop public speaking abilities, and express themselves more clearly. Whether you're looking to boost your confidence or simply sharpen your communication skills, everyone is welcome to join this supportive and encouraging environment.
